“Bengaluru, We Are Sorry”: BookMyShow “Regrets” the Cancellation of Trevor Noah Shows


<p>Leading online ticketing company BoomMyShow has now released a statement, apologizing to all the fans, a day after Trevor Noah cancelled gigs in Bengaluru owing to “technical issues”. It said that it ‘truly regrets’ the difficulty it caused and gave everyone the assurance that their ticket money will be repaid in eight to 10 business days.</p>
<p>“We sincerely apologize for any difficulty caused by Trevor Noah’s ‘Off The Record’ program on September 27 at the Manpho Convention Center. <p>“All clients who bought tickets for both performances will get a full refund within 8 to 10 business days. We really regret the unpleasant experience our valued clients had, and we hope to have Trevor return to this wonderful city as soon as possible, the statement said.</p>
<p>On September 27 and 28, comedian and TV broadcaster Trevor Noah was scheduled to be in Bengaluru as a part of his Off The Record Tour. The ‘technical concerns’ that forced the last-minute cancellation of the programs were, however.</p>
<p>“Hello, Bengaluru, India.” I was so excited to play in your incredible city, but due to technical difficulties, we were forced to postpone both gigs, wrote Trevor Noah when he made the announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter).</p>
<p>“We tried everything, but there is practically no way to put on a performance since the audience can’t hear the comedians on stage. The comedian said, “We’ll make sure that every ticket holder gets a full refund, and once again, I’m really sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this has never occurred to us before.</p>
<p>According to the Free Press Journal, Noah entered the stage before leaving owing to sound problems. He allegedly continued by saying that he had never had such an experience before and that he had anticipated the sound to be fixed.</p>
