England and New Zealand will compete in the first game.

“On Thursday during the cricket match, up to 16 IPS officials would be on the field to oversee our security setup. Following matches to be played in the Narendra Modi stadium as part of the World Cup would also use the same security structure, which consists of many levels, Koradia told reporters.

He said that around 3,500 police officers, including traffic officers, would be on duty both inside and outside the stadium, as well as in other places and on the routes the players would use to go there from their hotels.

In addition to our strict security at the parking lot and the stadium’s metro station, the police officer stated, “There will be an inner layer and an outer layer of security at the stadium.”

On Thursday, teams from Bomb Detection and Disposal Teams (BDDS) and Quick Response Teams (QRT) will also be stationed at strategic areas.

No one will be permitted to enter the stadium without a legitimate ticket, pass, or other permission, according to Koradia, who also said that cars going through the Motera region are being properly examined.

The traffic police have issued a notice barring vehicle movement on the route leading to the stadium from the BRTS intersection from 11 am to midnight ahead of the first game and four further matches to be played in Ahmedabad.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the leader of the outlawed group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), was the subject of a FIR filed on September 29 by the cybercrime unit of the Ahmedabad police for allegedly threatening to transform the cricket World Cup into a “World Terror Cup.”

According to the FIR, Pannun’s threat was delivered to Gujarat residents through a pre-recorded voice message that was transmitted from a foreign number.

According to the letter, “Sikhs for Justice is going to storm Ahmedabad with Khalistani flags” on Thursday during the first game.
