Asian Games: Indian women’s judo competitors leave after the first round

<p>In the women’s 52 kg division, China’s Jie Miao beat India’s Anupama Swain 0-12. Rohini Kalam of India lost 0-50 by submission to Asma Alhosani of the United Arab Emirates.</p>
<p>In their round of 32 fights, Mongolia’s Udval Tsogkhuu and South Korea’s Gaeun Geum both defeated Angitha Shyju and Nikita Choudhary via submission in the 57kg division.</p>
<p>On Saturday, Maheshwar Uma Reddy and Amarjeet Singh of India will participate in the men’s 85kg division, while Kiran Kumari will compete in the women’s 63kg division.</p>
<p>India is competing in the sport for the first time in the current Asian Games.</p>
