Bradley Cooper, a famous actor, is spending Thanksgiving with the children of Leonard Bernstein.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-286845″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-bradley-cooper-organizes-a-thanksgiving-celebration-with-the-children-of-leonard-b.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com bradley cooper organizes a thanksgiving celebration with the children of leonard b” width=”1234″ height=”821″ title=”Bradley Cooper organizes a Thanksgiving celebration with the children of Leonard Bernstein 9″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-bradley-cooper-organizes-a-thanksgiving-celebration-with-the-children-of-leonard-b.jpg 275w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-bradley-cooper-organizes-a-thanksgiving-celebration-with-the-children-of-leonard-b-150×100.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1234px) 100vw, 1234px” />

The 48-year-old actor, who plays the renowned conductor in the soon-to-be biopic “Maestro,” is flying to Connecticut to celebrate the holiday with Jamie, Nina, and Alexander Bernstein, with whom he became close while filming.

Cooper claimed on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” that they planned to go to Fairfield to spend the day with the children of the Bernsteins after seeing (New) Jersey. And that home is where we filmed “Maestro.”

Cooper said it was never difficult for him or co-star Carey Mulligan, who portrays his on-screen wife Felicia, despite the fact that they spent six years training for the part, studying Bernstein’s compositions, and performing with the New York Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra.

“It felt so thrilling—like we were just channeling these people, and it didn’t feel like acting,” he said. I mean, this is something I will never experience again.”

The Oscar-winning actor said that he used to watch cartoons like “Tom and Jerry” in his bedroom for “hundreds of hours conducting.”

“I’ve always been in love with conducting—fake conducting, when I was a kid,” he said.

Cooper has come under fire for donning a prosthetic nose in order to portray the late Jewish composer, and he acknowledged crying when the conductor’s family issued an encouraging remark.

He clarified during a CBS News appearance: “I contacted Alex Bernstein to congratulate him after reading the statement. and I recall hearing his voice when I spoke with him on the phone.

And then—I couldn’t believe it—this enormous emotional release occurred, and I started weeping so much that I was unable to express my gratitude to him. And he burst into tears. And it was a wonderful occasion. And sometimes, you know, you’re not even sure what’s happening. It was an unbelievable gesture to me. I found that to be very moving,” he went on.

“We were touched to the core to witness the depth of his commitment, his loving embrace of our father’s music, and the sheer open-hearted joy he brought to his exploration,” the family said in an August statement. Any misinterpretation or misunderstanding of his work saddens our hearts. Leonard Bernstein did, in fact, have a lovely, large nose.

We don’t mind at all that he decided to add more makeup to his likeness. Additionally, we are certain that our dad would have approved of it.
