<p>About 1,050 job offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs), have been made to IIT Delhi students. Following the completion of phase 1 of the placement season for 2023–2024, 1,000 individuals were specially chosen.</p>

<p>About 20 foreign firms in Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the UAE, the UK, and the US sent over 50 international offers, including PPOs. According to the number of students given employment, Air India, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj Auto, and Ola Electric are the top employers on campus.</p>
<p>According to R Ayothiraman, the professor in the head of the Office of Career Services, “We have done reasonably well in phase 1 of the placement session.” He said, “We applaud the students for giving it their all.” Students are mostly placed in the core technical sector, which is followed by the IT sector, which is also essential to many disciplines, including computer science, mathematics, and computing, according to an IIT study released on Thursday.</p>
<p>More students than in previous years have entered the core industry. The Industrial Liaison Officer of IIT Delhi, Dr. Anishya O. Madan, said, “We are excited about the encouraging hiring trend. Prof. Ayothiraman said, “We are trying to get more companies in phase 2, which will start in mid-January.” The period of placement is from December to May.</p>
<p>Employers from over 370 industries, providing over 700 job profiles, have shown interest in hiring students from IIT Delhi. In this phase, 450 job profiles have had their procedures finished. According to Dr. Madan, the others will be planned for the next phase.</p>
