India loses to the Netherlands in the FIH Hockey5 World Cup quarterfinals

<p>In the FIH Hockey5s Men’s World Cup quarterfinals on Tuesday, India lost 4-7 against the Netherlands despite Mohammed Raheel’s hat-trick.</p>

<p>Raheel (1′, 7′, 25′) and Mandeep Mor (11′) were the other Indian scorers.</p>
<p>Sander de Wijn (4′, 15′), Alexander Schop (10′, 26′), Lucas Middendorp (12′), Jamie van Aart (13′), and Pepijn Reyenga (20′) all scored twice for the Netherlands.</p>
<p>Raheel opened the game with a spectacular field goal to show off his talents and set the tone for a fierce contest. This gave India hope for a successful outcome.</p>
<p>But the Netherlands quickly countered India’s early advantage, with a goal by de Wijn (4′) to tie the game. India increased their aggressive tactics in response to the swift equalizer, and Raheel scored another goal.</p>
<p>Despite the newfound advantage, the Netherlands showed resiliency by tying the score again thanks to a goal by Schop.</p>
<p>The match remained back-and-forth, with Mandeep helping India take the lead again.</p>
<p>Still, the Netherlands responded with a quick series of goals, thanks to goals from Middendorp and van Aart, who expertly turned the tide in their favor.</p>
<p>De Wijn scored a vital challenge goal just before halftime to pull India ahead. The Netherlands continued to show off their might in the second half as Reyenga and Schop increased their advantage.</p>
<p>India lost despite a heroic effort by Raheel, who scored once more to complete his hat-trick.</p>
<p>Later in the day, India will take against Kenya in the game for fifth to eighth position.</p>
