Tiny Tales Festival: Unfolding stories for little ones

Pune,29th June 2026:-Organized by Deep Griha Academy

Today, Deep Griha Academy came alive with the magic of storytelling through our Tiny Tales Festival. Students and teachers came together to share stories that sparked imagination, curiosity, laughter, and meaningful conversations.

We were delighted to welcome the students and teachers from Mary Memorial School, Patas Branch, along with children from Deep Griha’s Residential Programme, making this a truly joyful and inclusive celebration of stories.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Afreen Pavey, Principal of Mary Memorial School, Patas Branch, and Mr. Rajesh Nimbolkar, Team Leader of Deep Griha’s City of Child Programme, for encouraging and supporting the participation of the children in this event.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to the students and teachers of Deep Griha Academy for planning and conducting the event so beautifully.

The highlights of the event included stories shared in English, Marathi, and Hindi through read aloud, puppet storytelling, readers’ theatre, and story enactments, making every session interactive, engaging, and memorable.

The room was filled with laughter and excitement as every story unfolded. For two hours, the children remained completely engaged, listening, imagining, and participating with great enthusiasm.

Most importantly, storytelling nurtures human connections. It brings people together, builds empathy, celebrates diverse voices, and creates shared experiences that leave a lasting impact. Every story shared today reminded us that when children are given the opportunity to listen, imagine, and tell their own stories, they develop not only a love for reading but also meaningful connections with one another.
